Day 1: Welcome to Uganda / transfer to Kibale Forest
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our Igufa Safaris’ driver guide. After briefing, they will transfer you south west to Kibale Forest National Park (KFNP). It’s approximetly a 5hour journey from Entebbe to KFNP and your trip will take you through small towns, traditional homesteads and the occasional forest and vegetation cover.

These primates are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable; the forest walk is an enriching activity.
Uganda is home to 5000 chimpanzees making it an ideal location to see them – other primates in Kibale Forest include; Lhoestes, Red-colobus, Blues, Red-tailed, grey cheeked mangabeys, birds and butterflies. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates but also the forest’s fauna and flora.
